HBsAg seroconversion with pegylated interferon treatment for chronic hepatitis B

Each year HBsAg seroconversion appears spontenously between the range of 1-2 percent and also antiHBs appears in 1/3 of these cases. HBsAg seroconversion is % 4 for the treatment with convensional interferon and this rate is also similar for the treatment with pegylated interferon. Here we present a patient with chronic hepatitis B who treated with pegylated interferon, had seroconversion of HBsAg.
