Risky Pregnancy Profile In Maternity Hospitals: Sample Of Izmir Province

Aim: This research is a study that has been made for the purpose of sub structure to be constituted maintenance protocol that will be prepared for risky pregnant which are met the maintenance requirements by the hospital, and is a descriptive research to determine the risky pregnancies in order to hospitalize.
Method: 261 pregnant which are staying for risky pregnancy in two maternity hospitals that are located in Izmir province have been included into the research. Socio-demographic characteristics of the pregnant with risk profiles have been supplied along with percentage and count distribution.
Findings: The 27.6% of pregnant which are subject to the research are between the ages of 20-24 and 37.5% are primary school graduate. It has been determined that the total average number of pregnancies is 2,18±1,48, average number of gestational week is 28.91±9.28. The hospitalization indication of pregnant is 32.2% as threat of premature birth, 9.1% as gestational diabetes mellitus and as being 7,3% also has been determined as abortus imminence.
Conclusion: The hospitalization for a risky pregnant varies according to the negative effect of the relevant risk on the mother and foetus. The risk situations during pregnancy should be examined respectively and specific maintenance protocols for each risk situation must be developed.

Doğumevlerinde Riskli Gebelik Profili: İzmir İli Örneği

Amaç: Bu araştırma hastanede yatarak bakım gereksinimleri karşılanan riskli gebelere yönelik hazırlanacak bakım protokollerine alt yapı oluşturmak üzere ağırlıklı olarak hangi riskli gebeliklerin hospitalize edildiğini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiş tanımlayıcı tipte bir araştırmadır.
Yöntem: Araştırmaya İzmir ilinde yer alan iki doğumevinde riskli gebelik nedeniyle yatan 261 gebe dahil edilmiştir. Gebelerin sosyo-demografik özellikleri ile risk profilleri sayı ve yüzde dağılımları ile verilmiştir.
Bulgular: Araştırma kapsamına alınan gebelerin %27.6’sı 20-24 yaş arasında %37.5’i de ilkokul mezunudur. Gebelerin toplam gebelik sayısı ortalaması 2,18±1,48, gebelik haftası ortalaması 28.91±9.28 olarak bulunmuştur. Gebelerin hospitalizasyon endikasyonları %32.2 erken doğum tehdidi, %9.1 gestasyonel diabetes mellitus %7.3 olarak da abortus imminens olarak saptanmıştır.
Sonuç: Riskli bir gebede hospitalizasyon, riskin anne ve fetüs üzerinde yarattığı olumsuz etkilere göre değişmektedir. Gebelikte görülen risk durumları ayrı ayrı incelenerek her risk durumu için spesifik bakım protokolleri geliştirilmelidir.
