Prenatal Diagnosis of Bilateral Dacryocystocele; Case Report

Here we present a case report of the prenatal diagnosis of isolated bilateral dacryocystocele. The other possibilities involving the eye and orbit: facial hemangioma, dermoid cyst or anterior encephalocele were distinguished by the high-resolution prenatal ultrasound and Doppler findings. As dacryocystocele may be part of several congenital syndromes, detailed sonographic evaluation of the fetus is needed to exclude associated anatomic anomalies.

İzole bilateral dakrosistoselin prenatal tanısı olgu olarak sunulmuştur. Ayırıcı tanıda göz ve orbitanın fasiyal hemanjiomu, dermoid kisti ve anterior ensefaloseli düşünülülerek yüksek çözünürlüklü prenatal ultrason ve doppler bulgularıyla tanı konulmuştur. Dakrosistoselin çeşitli konjenitel sendromların parçası olabilmesinden ötürü, eşlik eden anatomik anomalilerden ayrımı için fetüsün ayrıntılı ultrasonografik taraması mutlaka yapılmalıdır.
