A case of Biateral Extensive Persistent Pupillary Membranes with Amblyopia and Cataract

It can be associated with other ocular pathologies. These membranes can cause deprivation or anisometropic amblyopia. The choice of treatment depends on the patient’s age and the characteristics of the membranes. In this paper, we report the findings of a 21-year old female with bilateral persistent pupillary membranes, amblyopia and cataract.

Diğer oküler patolojiler ile birliktelik gösterebilir. Bu membranlar deprivasyon ambliyopisi ve belirgin anisometropik ambliyopiye yol açabilmektedirler. Tedavi seçenekleri hastanın yaşı ve membranın özelliklerine göre değerlendirilir. Bu yazıda 21 yaşında bilateral persistan pupiller membran, ambliyopi ve kataraktı olan bir kadın hasta sunmaktayız.
