It is presented by symptoms like recurrent throat pain, foreign body sensation in the throat, dysphagia. Diagnosis can usually be made by means of physical examination by digital palpation of styloid process within the tonsillary fossa. Treatment of the Eagle Syndrome is primarily surgical. Shortening procedures of the styloid process by intraoral or external approach are used.
