Typical features of Netherton syndrome are congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma, atopic diathesis and trichorrhexis nodosa. Here in this report, we present a case with congenital ichthyosis and atopy revealing later. We wanted to discuss the importance of whole exome sequencing for diagnosing the atypical presentations of common syndromes.

Netherton sendromunun tipik özellikleri konjenital iktiyotik eritroderma, atopiye yatkınlık ve trikoreksis nodozadır. Bu makalede, konjenital iktiyozu olan ve atopinin sonradan saptandığı bir süt çocuğunu sunduk. Bilinen sendromların atipik prezentasyonlarında tüm ekzom sekanslamanın önemini vurgulamak istedik.
