Çocuk Acil Servise Ağrı Şikayetiyle Başvuran Hastaların Retrospektif İncelenmesi

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Bu çalışma çocuk acil servise ağrı şikayetiyle başvuran 0-18 yaş grubu hastaların yaş ve cinsiyet özellikleri açısından incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.
YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Araştırma, 01.01.2017-31.12.2017 tarihleri arasında bir devlet hastanesinin çocuk acil servisinde retrospektif olarak yapılmıştır. Belirtilen tarihler arasında çocuk acil servise ağrı şikayeti ile başvuran 0-18 yaş arası 7712 hasta araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmuştur. İlgili kurumdan resmi izin alındıktan sonra Hasta Bilgi Yönetim Sistem (HBYS) programından elde edilen veriler microsoft excell programında analiz edilmiştir.
BULGULAR: Acil servise ağrı şikayetiyle başvuran çocukların %62.1’i kız ve %26.6’sı 15-18 yaş grubundadır. Çocukların sırasıyla karın ağrısı (5981, %77.5), baş ağrısı (494, %6.4), göğüs ağrısı (459, %6), miyalji (359, %4.7) dismenore (226, %2.9), eklem ağrısı (140, %1.8) ve bel ağrısı (53, %0.7) şikayeti ile acil servise başvurduğu saptanmıştır. Karın ağrısı 0-4 yaş grubu kızlarda (%24), baş ağrısı 15-18 yaş grubu kızlarda (%28), göğüs ağrısı 10-14 yaş grubu erkeklerde (%27.7), miyalji 15-18 yaş grubu erkeklerde (%29), dismenore 15-18 yaş grubu kızlarda ( %91.6) eklem ağrısı 15-18 yaş grubu kızlarda (%22.9) ve bel ağrısı 15-18 yaş grubu erkeklerde (%39.6) daha sık görülmüştür
TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: Kız çocuklar ve 15-18 yaş grubundaki çocukların ağrı nedeniyle acil servise daha sık başvurduğu, aldıkları tanılara bakıldığında ise birinci basamak sağlık hizmetleri ve genel polikliniklerde de tedavi alabilecek hastalar olduğu sonucuna ulaşıldı.
A Retrospective Examination of Patients Applying to a Pediatric Emergency Service with Complaint of Pain

INTRODUCTION: This study was conducted for the purpose of examining patients in the age group of 0-18, who applied to the pediatric emergency service due to the complaint of pain, in terms of age and gender characteristics.
METHODS: The study was conducted retrospectively in the pediatric emergency service of a state hospital between 01.01.2017 and 31.12.2017. The population of the study consisted of 7712 patients aged between 0-18 years who applied to the pediatric emergency service due to complaint of pain between the specified dates. The data acquired from the Patient Information Management System (PIMS) program were analyzed in Microsoft Excel program.
RESULTS: Out of the children who had applied to the emergency service due to complaint of pain, 62.1% were girls and 26.6% were in the age group of 15-18 years. It was determined that the children applied to the emergency service respectively with complaints of stomach ache (77.5%), headache (6.4%), chest pain (6%), myalgia (4.7%), dysmenorrhea (2.9%), arthralgia (1.8%) and low back ache (0.7%). Stomach ache was more frequent among girls in the age group of 0-4 years (24%), headache among girls in the age group of 15-18 years (28%), chest pain among boys in the age group of 10-14 years (27.7%), myalgia among boys in the age group of 15-18 years (29%), dysmenorrhea among girls in the age group of 15-18 years (91.6%), arthralgia among girls in the age group of 15-18 years (22.9%), and low back ache among boys in the age group of 15-18 years (39.6%).
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: It was concluded that girls and children in the age group of 15-18 years applied more frequently to the emergency service due to pain and in terms of their diagnoses, they were the patients who could also receive treatment in primary healthcare services and general outpatient clinics.
