Thinking Reverse Robin Hood Syndrome in the emergency room: case of a male with vertigoSadaf Sheikh1, Muhammad Akbar Baig2, Muhammad Akbar Baig21Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Muscat, Oman2Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan Reversed Robin Hood syndrome (RRHS) is mainly described as arterial blood flow steal from ischemic to non-ischemic parts of the brain. It is one of the cause of early deteriorations in ischemic stroke patients. This presented case brought us to think about the relation of RRHS with risk of stroke. Flow steal with arterial occlusions is a well-known phenomenon. This phenomenon is coined due to its similarity with the phrase “rob the poor to feed the rich.” However, more studies are needed to evaluate the concept of blood flow steal in real-time. Possible mechanism is the vasodilation of non-ischemic areas that steal the blood flow from ischemic areas. 1 Keywords: Reversed Robin Hood syndrome, stroke, vertigoSadaf Sheikh, Muhammad Akbar Baig, Muhammad Akbar Baig.
